• Clear Waters have been active as a charitable organisation in The Gambia for many years.  As our name suggests our primary objective is to provide clean and hygenic water sources for communities across the whole of The Gambia.

Proposed project activity

There will be many areas in which an overseas charity could help the people of The Gambia, and on many different levels, we have found over the years that a by-word for eventual success is patience.  Clear Waters The Gambia have over the last two years completed the construction of our playground and stand pipe area, and in the process have gained invaluable experience in dealing with the authorities and local labour.

We would like to suggest to our sponsors as there is an interest to continue, that a small to medium sized project to be completed from land acquisition, through construction, to completion and handover, for stakeholders to build a working relationship built on trust and transparency to the satisfaction of all.  We have a list of possibilities for our sponsors to consider.  We are sure land allocation allowing, that all three projects could be completed over a period of twelve months, working three months on and three months off.
